Connect Northamptonshire invites VCSE Organisations to Tender for Pilot Project to tackle Women’s Health Inequalities in Central Northampton

Background to Invitation To Tender

Women have less years of Healthy Lives due to poorer reproductive and gynecological health – often multiple Long-Term Conditions affecting their quality of Life and ability to remain independent. This Pilot Project will focus on Prevention of Women’s ill health from a complete life course perspective (Women’s Health Outcomes can be affected in every decade of a female’s life – Antenatal Wellbeing, Birth, Early Years, Childhood including Adolescent Mental and Physical Health, Pregnancy, Menopause, and Older age support), with emphasis on how wider determinants of Health can affect a women’s health outcomes.   

The Pilot Project will demonstrate Impact on our county’s Ambitions to “Live your Best Life”, with particular focus on monitoring;

  • Best Start in Life
  • Access to health care
  • To feel safe in home and when out and about
  • The opportunity to be valued for who you are

Our Pilot Project will support and demonstrate the capacity and capabilities of our Voluntary and Community Groups, and Social Enterprises to design and coproduce Community-led initiatives with our communities health needs at the heart.

Invitation to Tender

Closing date for applications is Friday 8th December 2023 COP

A panel of independent stakeholders will be convened to assess tenders, and make a decision to award the contract for this Pilot Project by Friday 26th January 2024 
 

Each Tender will be assessed against the following Criteria:
