NHSE’s national major service change team is offering free virtual training to ICB and trust comms professionals on Wednesday 29 November 2023.
The course – which runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm – is aimed at teams who need to engage with stakeholders about a service change programme in their area. It will cover the principles of effective communications, engagement and stakeholder relations and how to design and deliver a robust engagement strategy, including stakeholder mapping, setting SMART objectives, identifying effective channels, getting your messaging right, the importance of a strong feedback and intelligence loop, and resourcing your engagement activity.
